I’ve decided to take the plunge and I’d like to have a posse while doing this crazy challenge. Anyone up for doing Whole30 with me? What if we got a huge group of people doing it as a team (TeamJolie) and kicked some serious clean eating butt? That would be dope!
Here’s how it will work…
1. Do the program – no cheating EVER
2. Chronicle your program on social media (Insta, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat) using the hashtag #TeamJolieWhole30 so we can all be miserable together and whine about missing sugar and cheese.
3. At the end of your 30 days, comment on this post with a little blurb about your journey and you’ll be entered in one of my best giveaways yet. TWO people will win.
4. Eat cake and drink dirty Diet Cokes. When you’re done of course.
I am going to begin the program on June 1st. I know some of you have let me know that you can’t begin until later in June or that you started in mid-May so here’s the deal, this giveaway will be for those that start and complete the program any time between May 15th and July 15th. That gives you guys a good window to get. it. done.
Now, who’s with me? {chugs all the diet coke in the house}
Xx, Rach
P.S. A little taste (hehe pun intended) of the giveaway – Nordstrom, Ashley Brooke Designs, Instax Mini Camera, and more!
I’m in but have need to get book and details to get started. …
Amazon has the book. It’s also online!
I’m in! I’ll order the book today.
Ok if I can convince Mell and find the book I am in!
My husband and I just finished our 1st Whole 30! After trying last November and basically starving ourselves for 14 days we finally went to the Cheesecake Factory, ate the most delicious meal of our lives, and failed Whole 30. I still really wanted to try it so I bought both books, read them, my husband read them, and we decided we would start May 22nd. We were both on board 100%. I learned that in order to successfully do Whole 30 following their meal plans with the protein, fat, veggie, fruit portions just right makes all the difference. I felt like we ate really well and although we ended up spending more on food, I think it was worth it in the end. It helped me really think about food. Now that it is over I am not sure what our lives will look like. We are just starting the reintroduction phase so that will hopefully give us greater understanding about how our diet affects us personally and we can go from there. Although I didn’t notice any major differences, I do feel generally better and have gained a lot of food awareness that I hope I can use in the future. #teamjoliewhole30
I’ve tried doing whole30 several times over the last 10months. Sometimes it lasted 2 weeks or 3 weeks. This time I really was ready. I kept a food and mood journal. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, and at times was a closet eater. I realized that I use sweets to comfort me when I’m angry, annoyed, sad, lonely, stressed, or bored. I finally earned my I Am Whole 30 shirt! In fact, I’m doing another round starting 7.13.15 with my hubby. It definitely helps having a friend supporting you during whole 30 .
